Helmet Safety Information
Motorcycle Club Shop
A motorcycle helmet is safety equipment. Choose, fit, use and replace it according to the manufacturer instructions and the laws that apply where you ride.
Certification and intended use
Check the product description and helmet label for the stated certification and intended use. A novelty or decorative helmet must not be treated as certified protective equipment. Requirements differ by country and jurisdiction.
Fit and condition
A helmet should fit securely without painful pressure points and should not move independently of the head when fastened. Do not use a helmet with impact damage, a compromised shell or liner, damaged straps, or an unknown history.
Care and replacement
Follow the manufacturer guidance for cleaning, storage, component replacement and service life. Avoid unapproved modifications, paints, solvents or accessories that could affect the shell, liner, retention system or field of view.
