40017 Tour-Pak Side Running, Brake and Turn LED Pair
Regular price
$442.99 USD
This listing is for one 40017 left/right Tour-Pak side-light pair in black. The intended functions are running, brake and turn signaling. The Tour-Pak, passenger backrest, motorcycle and other lighting are not included; hardware or wiring is included only if explicitly itemized in writing.
Fitment and contents gate
Verify VIN-level motorcycle model/year, Tour-Pak part/configuration, side-panel/backrest arrangement and mounting points against authoritative 40017 fitment data. Request housing/lens dimensions, left/right orientation, complete BOM, connector type/pinout, cable lengths and whether adapters, modules, load equalizers, programming, drilling or sealing parts are required.
Electrical and installation evidence
Confirm operating voltage, current draw for each function, polarity, fuse requirement, LED load/CAN-bus compatibility, ingress rating, lens/housing materials, wire gauge and connector sealing. Route and strain-relieve wiring away from hinges, latches, sharp edges, heat and luggage pinch points; maintain Tour-Pak and backrest operation and use circuit protection.
Function and legal checks
Before final assembly, test left and right running, brake and turn functions independently and together, including color, brightness, flash rate, charging-voltage behavior, diagnostics, heat and viewing angles. Confirm placement and functions comply with local law and do not replace required certified lighting unless specifically approved. No visibility or safety improvement is promised without photometric evidence.
