STEP 1 — CHOOSE THE FINISH
Soft Enamel or Hard Enamel?
Both options reproduce club colors with clean metal outlines, but they create very different surfaces.
Choose according to the character of your club artwork, how the pin will be used and the finish you want members to wear.
Not sure which enamel style fits your artwork?
Upload the club logo and tell us how the pins will be used. We can recommend the most suitable production method before you order.
SOFT ENAMEL PINS
Raised metal lines sit above slightly recessed enamel colors, creating a textured surface that can be both seen and felt.
The visible metal borders work especially well with traditional motorcycle club artwork, bold lettering, skulls, wings, shields, engines and strong graphic shapes.
Best For:
Motorcycle club logos · Vest pins · Chapter pins · Run and rally pins · Larger club orders · Traditional biker styling
Surface: Raised Metal + Recessed Color
Look: Bold · Textured · Traditional
HARD ENAMEL PINS
The enamel is polished level with the surrounding metal, producing a smooth and refined surface.
Hard enamel works particularly well for anniversary editions, presentation pieces, officer gifts and collectible pins where a cleaner premium appearance is preferred.
Best For:
Anniversary pins · Officer gifts · Presentation pins · Premium club merchandise · Limited editions · Collectible sets
Surface: Smooth + Polished
Look: Clean · Refined · Premium
STEP 2 — CHOOSE THE SIZE
Choose a Size That Works on Club Gear
Pin size affects visibility, comfort, artwork detail and cost.
For motorcycle club pins worn on leather or denim vests, approximately 1"–1.5" is a practical starting range for many designs. More detailed club emblems may require additional size so lettering and small elements remain clear.
Fine lettering and narrow metal lines have physical production limits. Our designers will review the artwork and recommend increasing the size or simplifying very small details when necessary.
0.75" / 19 MM
Compact and Discreet
Best for simple symbols, initials or small recognition pins.
Works best when the design contains very little text.
1" / 25 MM
Clean Everyday Size
Suitable for simple club marks, chapter symbols and small event pins.
Easy to wear alongside an existing pin collection.
1.25" / 32 MM
Popular Vest-Pin Size
A strong balance between visibility, comfort and detail.
Recommended for many motorcycle club logos and run pins.
1.5" / 38 MM
More Room for Club Detail
Provides additional space for chapter names, dates, surrounding lettering and more detailed artwork.
1.75"–2" / 44–51 MM
Statement and Collector Size
Better suited to detailed anniversary pieces, commemorative designs and larger event pins.
CUSTOM SIZE
Need another dimension?
The final size can be adjusted around your actual artwork rather than forcing the club logo into a standard shape.
STEP 3 — BUILD THE LOOK
Match the Pin to Your Club Colors
Color and metal finish determine how closely the finished pin fits your existing patches, vest colors and club identity.
Send your approved artwork, color references or Pantone values where available. Final enamel colors are confirmed during the artwork approval process.
Standard enamel is best suited to solid color areas. If the original artwork contains gradients, photographs or extremely small details, our designers may recommend simplifying the artwork or adding a printing process.
CLUB COLOR MATCHING
Use the colors already established in your club logo, patch, event artwork or chapter identity.
Pantone references can be used when accurate color control is required.
ANTIQUE SILVER
A darker, aged appearance that works naturally with black leather, traditional club graphics and vintage-style artwork.
Character: Heritage · Rugged · Understated
SILVER / NICKEL
Creates clear contrast around colored enamel and works with both modern and traditional designs.
Character: Clean · Strong · Versatile
BLACK METAL / BLACK NICKEL
A natural choice for dark club graphics and black leather gear.
Character: Dark · Aggressive · High Contrast
ANTIQUE BRASS
Adds a warmer vintage appearance and works well with heritage-inspired club or commemorative artwork.
Character: Aged · Warm · Traditional
GOLD
Creates stronger visual contrast and a more formal appearance.
Character: Bold · Formal · Premium
COPPER / ANTIQUE COPPER
A less common option that creates an aged mechanical feel.
Character: Industrial · Vintage · Distinctive
STEP 4 — SECURE THE PIN
Choose the Right Backing for How You Ride
The back of the pin matters—especially when it will be worn on leather, denim or riding gear.
Choose the attachment according to the pin size, weight and how securely you want it held in place.
For pins intended to stay permanently or semi-permanently on a motorcycle vest, ask us about locking, screw-back or dual-post configurations.
BUTTERFLY / METAL CLUTCH
A traditional metal clutch used on many enamel pins.
Best For: General wear · Club presentations · Collections
RUBBER CLUTCH
Lightweight and easy to remove.
Best For: Caps · Jackets · Merchandise · Event pins
DELUXE / LOCKING CLUTCH
Designed to hold the pin post more securely than a basic clutch.
Best For: Leather vests · Riding jackets · Member pins
SCREW-BACK
Provides a strong mechanical attachment for riders who want additional security.
Best For: Long-term vest placement · Heavier pins · Riding use
DUAL POSTS
Larger or wider designs can use two posts to help reduce rotation.
Best For: Wide logos · Rocker-style shapes · Larger pins · Heavy designs

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU ORDER
Custom Motorcycle Club Enamel Pin FAQ
Answers to the questions motorcycle clubs most often need to resolve before approving a custom enamel pin order.
What is the difference between a 2D pin and a 3D pin?
A 2D pin uses flat raised and recessed levels with defined metal borders. A 3D pin uses sculpted, rounded and multi-level metal surfaces. For bold outlines and solid club colors, 2D enamel is often more suitable.
What is the difference between soft enamel and hard enamel?
Soft enamel leaves colored areas slightly recessed below metal borders. Hard enamel is polished until enamel and metal are level.
What size should a motorcycle vest pin be?
Approximately 1"–1.5" works well for many vest-pin designs, while 1.25" is a useful starting point. Detailed artwork may require a larger pin.
Can you reproduce our existing motorcycle club patch as a pin?
Yes. Send the original artwork or a clear photograph of the approved patch. We adapt it to the physical limits of metal and enamel.
Can you match our existing club colors?
Yes. Send approved color references or Pantone values where available.
Can different chapters use the same main design?
Yes. The main club emblem can remain consistent while approved chapter names, locations, dates or details change.
Can we make different pins for club officers?
Yes, when authorized by the club and when there is sufficient space for readable lettering.
Which backing is best for a leather motorcycle vest?
Standard clutches work for many pins; locking clutches, screw-backs and dual posts can provide additional security for riding gear.
Can very small text be added to an enamel pin?
Yes, within production limits. We may recommend a larger pin, simplified lettering or fine-detail printing.
Can you add our club name or year to the back?
Yes, depending on available back surface and construction.
Can you make numbered limited-edition pins?
Yes. Sequential numbering is available for selected anniversary, commemorative and collector projects.
Can we order different color versions using the same design?
In many cases, yes, when the physical mold and structure remain unchanged.
Can I request a sample before the full production run?
Yes. Sample support is available according to design and production requirements.
What affects the price of custom enamel pins?
Quantity, size, enamel type, colors, finish, backing, artwork complexity, special processes and packaging affect price.
Do larger club orders reduce the unit cost?
Generally, larger quantities make tooling and setup more efficient per pin.
Do you ship custom motorcycle club pins worldwide?
Yes. We support clubs, chapters and riding organizations in different countries.
What artwork files can I upload?
AI, EPS, SVG or PDF is preferred. High-resolution PNG or JPG files and clear photos can also be reviewed.
Can you reproduce any motorcycle club logo?
Please submit only artwork that your club or organization owns or is authorized to reproduce. We respect existing identities, trademarks and artwork.
