This compact passenger backrest has three model-year-labeled paths: CB01000(1) for 2018+ Softail, CB01000(2) for 2008–2022 XL Sportster and CB01000(3) for 2007–2017 Dyna. These broad labels are screening information, not VIN-level fitment proof.
Fitment and contents gate
Before ordering, verify exact model, year, trim, frame and rear-fender/strut configuration, seat and passenger layout, docking or mounting points and interference with racks, bags, lights and other accessories. Obtain a per-SKU bill of materials covering the pad, support, model-specific brackets, carbon-style trim panels, spacers and every fastener; request dimensions, hole spacing, fastener grade and specified torque.
Passenger-system safety gate
Confirm structural material, welds, finish, pad construction, tested load and whether the product is approved as part of the motorcycle's passenger system. A backrest does not replace a correctly secured passenger seat, footrests, handholds or rider instruction. After professional installation, verify seat and backrest retention, fastener locking, full suspension and tire clearance, lighting visibility and stability before controlled low-speed testing.
Use and inspection
Do not use the backrest as a lifting, towing, cargo tie-down or child-restraint point unless the manufacturer explicitly documents that use. Inspect brackets, welds, pad, trim and fasteners before rides and after the initial bedding period; stop using it if looseness, cracks, deformation or contact appears.

Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
